Welcome to HinT : Hobbygamers in Thanet.

HinT is an organisation, or perhaps a disorganisation, created to give players of Roleplaying Games, Card Games, Board Games, Miniature Games, Wargames, and pretty much any other sort of game that someone want to come along and suggest, an opportunity to get together and play. Based on (should that be in?) the Isle of Thanet, we mainly play in Margate or Ramsgate.

HinT's "semi-open" games (mainly boardgames, CCGs and wargames) went the way of the dodo, since the slot was been appropriated for role-playing, but moves are afoot to resurrect them once a month.

Back to the games...
After the success of gaming on New Years day we are considering swapping out RPGs for 'other' games once a month. Watch this space for details.

New years Day Gaming "Event".
This isn't truly a HinT thing but since many of HinT's core and associate members are going to be there it's worth mentioning that I (Fishy) am hosting a day of assorted gaming activities, from Trivial Pursuit to Dominion to Poker, on New Years Day. Any one who knows me well enough to know where I live, feel free to turn up any time during the afternoon and join in. Anyone else, get in touch with me on the fogonline forums and enquire about access.

Moving forwards, back to the old days... er... hang on?
HinT is "in negotiation" with Games Maison in Margate (Ramsgate Road, just shy of the Victoria traffic lights) to hold occasional "drop in" games in the shop of an afternoon. Should you visit the shop, and we recommend that you do, mention anything you are interested in seeing demonstrated. Hell, just mention that you dropped in because of us, we could do with the goodwill. >:^)
I personally (Fishy) would like to get some Battletech done so if anyone is interested in that, or any other demo game that we might be able to run, then please drop us a line on the fogonline.com forums.
